I’ve always been a very creative person. Even when I was a little kid, who wasn’t? It wasn’t until high school that I started taking it seriously. I was into all types of art; painting, realist drawings, and graffiti stencils (I never had the courage to actually stencil outside of the class room).
I became deeply involved with life drawing in college. I found that I loved analyzing the human body and dissecting it with my creative mind to create a drawing that evokes an emotion or inspires people.
During this time I had a full time job doing graphic design work, which helped me tremendously with composition, typography, and design. Even though the craft is different, the creative eye thats needed to create a successful result I believe are very similar.
Today, I’m still honing my craft, exploring new techniques, and seeing whats possible with my creative mind.
I’m a huge geek so when I’m not working on my art I’m usually stuffing my face with popcorn at the movie theater or flipping through pages of my favorite comic books.
